Honors our military and their families and provides jobs for people with disabilities.
The team at Heart to Heart (with wonderful volunteers) have donated gifts to military Moms, the veterans at the VA Hospital and the families staying at the Fisher House at least four times a year. The obvious blessings are that this provides consistent work for individuals with disabilities and highlights them as they remember another special population. With your help, we would like to expand this program to serve active duty military and their families. The cost per gift for our veterans is from $5 to $7, and the gifts for the families cost from $15 to $20 each. 100% of donations made to Project Give to Our Military will go for gifts to our veterans and their families.
Create a win/win situation of providing consistent work for individuals with disabilities while honoring and thanking members of the military, veterans and their families.
Our ongoing goal is to provide holiday gifts to all the veterans at the VA Hospital in Richmond and family baskets for people staying at the Fisher House.
With support (funds and donated items), we would like to provide gift items (baskets, mugs, other usable containers) to veterans at the VA Hospital in Richmond from four to six times a year.
We would like to expand our giving to include men and women stationed on ships and overseas.
We can also create special products that family members can ship to their loved ones.
Would you like to help?
Donations of money or gift items to go into baskets are always helpful. You can make donations here or mail them to REAP, 2106-B N. Hamilton Street, Richmond, VA 23230 or call for more details, 804-874-4591.
Organize a drive at work, church, or in the community. Collecting items (we’ll give you a sample and a shopping list) or just gift cards from Dollar Tree would be a big help.
Do you know of a business that might be willing to donate items for the baskets?
Join us for a “Production Party” (training provided).
